Highly proficient and skilled Notary Signing Agents provide loan signing service to lenders, escrow agents, title agencies and national signing services. All signing agents are commissioned Notaries who strive to provide an uncommon degree of dedication in adhering to The Notary Public Code of Professional Responsibility. Many of our Notaries Public are certified and fully screened by The National Notary Association in compliance with the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act. Notaries affiliated with Cavanaugh & Company, LLC are continually acquiring the skills, training and additional education to excel in this field. We are able to accept loan documents via all industry standard formats including email, web access and fax.

Loan document signings are offered by appointment only. We provide coverage in all of Middlesex County with limited availability in Hartford, Tolland, Middlesex, New London, and New Haven counties.

Our standard fee for a refinance or Heloc loan siging is is $75.00. Email or web docs are an additional $25.00 which includes a copy set. A same day Rush fee of $50.00 may be charged in addition to the standard fee.

Connecticut is a “2 witness” state. All deeds must be witnessed by two individuals. The Notary Public/Signing Agent acts as one witness. The homeowner or lender must provide another witness, over the age of 18 and not listed on the loan documents to act as the additional witness. Cavanaugh & Company will not provide witnesses.
